Only a very slight gather is achieved with this foot, for a more effective gather we recommend the ruffler.

Not as fantastic as I thought it might be. I liked the janome packaging which gives a suggested stitch length and tension on the back. The foot is a bit tricky to fit but easy when you know how.

I was disappointed as this foot did not fit my machine. I had even had an e-mail back from my enquiry listing the particular feet that would supposedly fit my make and model. A waste of money.

GUR REPLY: The foot is correct for your model, the gathering foot has 2 bars, one to snap onto the foot shank and the other bar hooks over the hook on the foot shank otherwise it will not work.
